Ergaki Nature Park

Snow festival

In 2015 Ergaki Nature Park started a new tradition to invite fans of outdoors and winter sports for a Snow Festival for one weekend in the end of March. Moderate temperatures and dry powdery snow make March the best time to practice cross country and mountain skiing, tobogganing, snowboarding and many other activities to explore Ergaki. Horse-drawn sleigh rides and dog sledding with a view of surrounding mountains make a winter holiday an unforgettable experience.

The Festival is a real attraction for all winter outdoor sports enthusiasts including sportsmen, families, children and photographers. Participants come from different parts of Russia.

Visitors can enjoy folk music and traditional local cuisine, buy local souvenirs and produce (Siberian pine (cider) nuts, jams, berries, herbal teas, etc.).
Interactive expositions at Visitor Centre introduce visitors to flora and fauna of the Park. Pottery workshop attract both children and their parents.

Sports contests, snowmobile race and traditional Russian fight called “Capture of snow town” are waiting for everyone who has passion for winter sports on and off the slopes.
