Ergaki Nature Park

Ergaki Nature Park one day guided tours

Ergaki Nature Park having a wide network of hiking trails is a true ecotourist paradise. Discover wonders of the Park on one of our one-day guided tours.

Hanging Rock (Visiachiy Kamen’)

Hanging Rock is the most popular hallmark of the Park. Changing majestic landscapes, the splendor of subalpine meadows with splashes of blue columbines and orange globeflowers, babbling brook and bewitching lakes make hikers forget about fatigue. You will see a Cozy Lake (Uyutnoye) and a Rainbow Lake (Raduzhnoye), Sleeping Sayan which is the symbol of Ergaki Nature Park and a Hanging Rock.

Hanging Rock (Visiachiy Kamen’) is an enormous block of granite-syenite rock weighting 150–200 tones which lies on top of one of Ergaki ridge peaks. It is said to be more than 50 m2. It seems that this huge rock stays there against all the laws of physics. When viewed from Rainbow Lake (Raduzhnoye) located below it seems that the Hanging Rock is sliding towards the lake and will soon will tumble into it.
